"Tug of War," 2000, oil on masonite, 24"x 36." This is a scene of my mother's death. There is a struggle between the living, loved ones and her dead, loved ones (angels.) The medical establishment, at the left, did as much good as Alka Seltzer. The candle snuffed out represents the end of life at the time given on the clock.
